I’m the founder of Ricardium, an AI-native economic intelligence platform that helps businesses navigate trade policy and geopolitical risk. It monitors policies and events in real time, quantifies their impact, recommends mitigation strategies, and delivers actionable intelligence through an API—helping enterprises optimize supply chains and reduce tariff costs, businesses recover overpaid duties, and quant teams price geopolitical risk into public-company valuations.
I’m building Ricardium because it’s the problem I’ve worked on from the research side for over a decade. I hold a PhD in Economics from UC Davis, and my work has appeared in the National Tax Journal and Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Economics and Finance. My specializations are international economics, applied econometrics, causal inference, and equilibrium modeling.
My publications and other research are on this site: how tariffs pass through supply chains (at the dock vs. in the store), what Trump’s 2025 tariffs cost in real time (medical goods), and how the market indices that investment funds track create arbitrage in developing countries’ sovereign debt (Benchmarking and Sovereign Risk).
You can find a complete list of my academic work on Google Scholar.
